[Oe List ...] RE: The death of "Cookie" Maloney

Colleagues,

The death of a colleague always comes to me as a shock, but the news about Cookie really took me aback.  Mainly because it is so hard to imagine her not always being there when the going was heavy.  The Maloneys were true Guardian/Colleagues, especially in the Houston and OKC regions.  Whether it was supporting the mission with money, recruiting and enabling a course, or anything else, I always remember Cookie in the forefront, and being exceptionally upbeat and indefatigable.  I was probably around the Maloneys more during the Town Meeting campaign of '75-76 than any other time, but I will always remember and admire her spirit and strength.
