[Oe List ...] Memories of Vance

In late summer Vance visited Asheville and we had the privilege of an 
afternoon conversation with Vance and Maria Sharp. Although it was very 
obvious that he was not in good health he only mention that when 
specifically asked. We reminisced and enjoyed telling the stories of the 
Order, but Vance was more interested in the future and having a workshop on 
Peace in Asheville.  We committed to setting up the workshop after our 
Jubilee building renovations are completed next spring. With some help from 
Vance's colleagues we are still committed to bringing Vance's Peace workshop 
to Asheville. I think he will like that!



Also, during the same afternoon, Vance presented us with a copy of his book 
on "Profound Humanness". It is a wonderful selection from some of the most 
respected leaders of the last several hundred years. Vance was able to weave 
all this information in and through the Order's spirit programs (research) 
in such a way as to make profound humanness come alive in a new way.
