Thank you, Steve, for refreshing my memory about the visit that Len made to the Sydney House. I remember him as a tall imposing figure, with a very kind manner, and a willingness to sit down and listen to anyone and everyone. He was what I call a gracious presence in our house, and an easy guest to care for.
grace and peace to you all,
Isobel Bishop.

  John,

I'm pretty sure that it was another fellow that was Tony the Tiger's voice, and I think he died earlier this year. I first met Len in Sydney in Sept. 1970, when he came out with JWM on Joe's annual post-Summer Research Assembly tour of the overseas houses. I mainly remember him as being fairly quiet and often introspective, which was such a different persona to his TV commercial one. I salute him in his passing.

  Grace and Peace,

  Steve Rhea

  Houston, Tx.

I suspect that we have many memories of Len Dressler. He and his wife
kept our children, Sarai and Chris, when the children were evacuated
during the riots. He was always a presence in the Guardian meetings.
When we were doing an ITI in India he came with Mathews and other
Guardians and would do his Ho, Ho, Ho for the Indian youngsters who had
never heard of the Jolly Green Giant, but were awed by the performance
      nevertheless.

      We have many riches.

Somehow, in the back of my memories I have it that Len Dressler was also the voice of Tony the Tiger. I also have many memories of Research Assemblies in Chicago and singing with Len and others. I have a tape cassette that he may have helped to record of singing at one of those summer assemblies.
