When I was in Kelapa Dua for a Women's Forum in 1977,
George was unofficial/official guide around the
village. He showed us around with all the pride of one
who owned the place; at the same time, he was
obviously deeply in awe over the village and its
people. What a grand walk we had, and George made it
all the more memorable. He brought care and a sense of
hope to those he encountered. Peace, George.
