I have further comments on this issue - percolating away in my unconscious.  
I will put them on the listserve when they surface.

I lost my jeweller-made Order ring at thge Murrin Bridge Consult - 
appropriate sacrifice, maybe. Maybe a bit like crumbs from real bread at 
some Catholic masses falling onto the floor - until someone preciously picks 
them up!  I think the symbolism of them being ground into the ground is 
appropriate - much better than the precious devotionalist crap that goes for 
a lot of Catholicism.

I'll do a mid-year Christmas letter soon.
