[Oe List ...] list use notes

Folks, when you reply to Lee Early saying you want to be on the his list for some of his forms materials, please make sure you are replying to his email address and not to the list - there are now over twenty emails from people that went to the whole list that are of interest only to Lee.

Secondly, and more generally,  the mailing list  is best used for short messages and back and forth interchange. Now that we have the facility to post lengthier articles, essays and materials at http://www.wedgeblade.net,   I would encourage people to post there, or ask Gordon Harper, Len Hockley, or myself to post it for you. 

I realize that the repository is new and it will take some time to get used to it, but once you do the reward will be great. As Lee said, much of what is on the mailing list doesn't interest him, but a few items are of very great interest. Having resources on the repository allows you to look for what interests you, and use pictures, images, and possibly even music to augment words. This won't replace the mailing list, but will allow us to use the mailing list more appropriately.

There's been quite a bit of good material posted on the mailing list lately. I will be approaching the various authors to repost some of it on the repository. If you have something you would like to post (or think should be posted), let me know. I'm on vacation right now and have sporadic web access, but Len and Gordon can also help. But don't wait, just be aware I might not be as responsive as usual.
