Dave,  Here are a few recent ones that lend themselves to excellent 
conversations:

Mrs. Henderson Presents
Pride and Predjudice
Capote
Good Night and Good Luck
In Her Shoes

I also did the "once a month movie" with a conversation at Friendly's 
Restaurant afterwards.  In our last church we bought videos of a wide variety of 
movies and put them in the Church Library with art-form questions printed on an 
insert for those who took them out.  That was also used by a significant number
