Hi Jan,
I have always found your input on our list serves thoughtful and
informative. In several of your recent e-mail you have made references
like the one below -- that "we are currently going through a major
rethinking of missional vision and structure, and the Network of
Spiritual Progressives is an important potential partner." I am
wondering who is the "we" who is participating in the major rethinking,
and in what kind of a forum? What are the criteria for considering
partners? Who else is on the list?
You seem to be better informed than many OE and ICA people in the US on
these matters, so I'm wondering how the communication loop might be
enlarged. So far Joe and I have only received a couple of very general
statements from Judy Lindblad on behalf of the Board, with no invitation
to ask questions or provide input.
Peace,
Marilyn

There are a lot of folks and perhaps groups addressed by your message,
Jon, and I can't speak to agreements for all. But for O:E and ICA people
in the U.S., I think this information is very appropriate. We are
currently going through a major rethinking of missional vision and
structure, and the Network of Spiritual Progressives is an important
potential partner. This conference can be a point of contact to check
this out. There is currently no delegation of responsibility to look at
partners - so anyone can do it and report - thus the message needed to go
out widely.
