Dear Jim, you and Wanda were in Jerusalem at the same time.  She is  
leading a team of Muslims, Jews and Christians and has been holding  
conversations with Israelis and Palestinians as part of her work with  
the General Board of Church and Society.

Re: the Local Church: Local religious institutions around the world  
are doing very well.  As institutions they never look real good, they  
just keep bumping along, in spite of all our incompetence.
