Dear ICA Colleagues and Supporters,
The Living Legacy events scheduled for November 2006 are being postponed.
As you may know, ICA USA is in the midst of a thorough organizational
assessment and capacity building initiative to strengthen overall operations
as we prepare to identify new leadership following the departure of
Elizabeth Houde, our first CEO. The assessment and subsequent changes will
impact every aspect of ICA¹s programs and administration. The outcome of
this project will position us for growth and put us on a sound financial
footing to assure quality service in the years ahead.
Given the broad nature of this assessment, we are postponing the Living
Legacy events until 2007 when we will be able to step out with a fresh
perspective, a new Executive Director, and a revitalized approach. We have
been gratified by the response to the Living Legacy Project and want to
assure you that the organization remains committed to establishing a Living
Legacy program in the ICA.
Since the new Living Legacy program is months in the future, we are willing
to return any donation and/or registration you may have made or, if you
prefer, place it in a dedicated interest-bearing account. Please advise us
of your wishes. We promise to stay connected and keep you abreast of our
progress.
Thank you for honoring our past and supporting our successful future.
