[Oe List ...] Sad, shocked and hopeful

Dear Colleagues,
Thank you to Herman, Ruth, and the Doves for your helpful words at this 
difficult time. Thank you also to Judy Lindblad for letting us know about 
the ICA/USA.
Jim and I add our feelings of sadness to those already expressed -  I can 
see many of your faces in my mind, as I write this. I had the pleasure of 
making a visit to the Kemper Building in 1995 on some study leave from my 
Parish, and was warmly welcomed by Marge Philbrook, and the Elizondos, 
amongst others.
I can only say that Hope is stronger than memory, and there is hope in all 
of this situation.
