Dear colleagues
David Jago and are editing the next issue of ICA Australia's "Pacific
Waves". I have a couple of books which I could review but would prefer them
from other people.
(1) "The Jesus Dynasty" by James Tabor. Maybe linked to Kathy Reich's
"Cross bones". The TV series "Bones" is currently on Ch 7 here.
(2) "The Jesus Sutras" by Martin Palmer - about very, very early
Christianity in NW China - Lao Tzu territory in more ways than one.
(3) "Many rivers, many pathways ..." (or whatever) by Mathew Fox - a
compendium of spiritual resources from religious and non-religious
traditions - picks up where Eliuade, Campbell and co left off?
(4) "Many Mansions" - Orbis Press - on people taking sustenance from more
than one tradition - how do the census forms cope?
Any contributions, even a paragraph or two, would be welcome.
