Those of you who are interested in this sort of thing, check out "The Future of Christianity" by Bellenzoni (I think I spelled his name right).  He does a brief historical critique of the gospels that would be good for a lay person who was trying to figure it all out.  Amazon advertises used copies for $12.50.

Frank: I'd be interested in just where you got the information that these 
would be good books to know about and review. I've been attending the Jesus 
Seminar for about 8 or 9 years now and I've never heard of any of them.
