[Oe List ...] Larry Henschen

I just returned from visiting the Henschens at the hospital.  Shirley  asked 
me to send out this information.  On Thursday Larry had a second  stroke.  I 
have been there when the neurologist has given them information  and according 
to all the tests, the brain is in the process of shutting down the  systems 
(my words, not exactly his).  Carla's husband and their one  daughter flew into 
Phoenix today, will come and say their goodbyes and then the  family will have 
the machines turned off and say goodbye.  He never has  regained 
consciousness since the surgery.
 
I didn't mention in the first email that Shirley has a broken pelvis and is  i
n a wheelchair.  She is strong woman and is doing as well as could be  
expected.  Prayers are in order for this family.  Joan  Knutson
