[Oe List ...] an alternative to "wrath of God"

    Perhaps you'll remember Gene Marshall's "My wife is the wrath of God" illustration. Now, Beverly is the wrath of God in my life. She loves me so much she is willing to awaken me when I not living the humane and gracious life. She stands in the gap while I blow by in every threatening manner until I fully awaken to what I've been."
    The point is that God loves us so much as to never let us off the hook (God's grace) of fulfilling our intended creation of living the humane and gracious life in At-One-Ment. The second point is that, "The reward for the deed is found in the deed itself." God never directly punishes us; this would be contrary to our definition (or experience) of the nature of God as love. The reward is built into each of our ethical actions; when we do good (obey the law) our neighbor/spouses are pleased with us; when we do mean and inconsiderate things (disobey The Law) then they are displeased with us and often we are displeased with ourselves. Sometimes this is called Tough Love. 
    Ah, well. .  what the hell!
