Dear Colleagues all around the world,
Thank you all for your thoughts at this troubled time for the ICA in the USA. I grieve with you all as you put your lives together again,and  create your next steps.
When Jim and I came back to the Church in the early 80's, we used so many of the tried and true methods we had learnt as Order Ecumenical people. I resonate very much with Clare and with Nan in their respective journeys....
I can only say that we still use the methods, and on Sunday coming we will sit with a group of young adults in our Church, and invite them to go through the Community Meeting process, as they determine their future. One of the ideas floating about is for this group of under 30's to take part in a House Church once a month......
A few years ago, as I was thinking about the year 2007, I wrote a letter asking if there was any value in holding a gathering in a place like Maui. I think that some looking at past achievements and some grasping the future is still a very human method.
We have greatly enjoyed having Lin and David back amongst us.... all too short!
