There was a recent article (this weekend) in the Washington Post on  
how the poor of Mexico are suffering because of the high price of  
corn due to the ethanol demand.  It will have a big health cost as  
the tortillas prevent rickets in children.  The price of tortillas  
have doubled and tripled and the poor can not afford to eat as many  
as they used to.  We need to see things in a whole system.  As usual,  
the poor suffer from the success of things like this.
