Now that you have offered your rationale for firing our colleagues,  please tell us:

What are the boards plans for the future and where will the money come from to fund them now that you do not have a program staff?

What are your plans for the  archives?

Why did go out and hire individuals with any knowledge of ICA and its history? Did it ever occur to you look around the country among our colleagues or their children or ask ICAs in other countries for recommendations for a new director or assistant director?

Don, you and the other board members need to stand present and be accountable to the rest of us and answer these questions.

In case you have forgotten how to do the Ritual of Accountability, I am sure there are some folks on this list who can help you remember.

P:S   I have reviewed the 990 Tax Returns for ICA and EI for the last 5 years and I question your staement about the program staff not generating much revenue. Also you attribution that the deficit was mainlydue to staff cost is juat a little misleading.

It has bothered me for all these months that the board acted upon the advice 
of a consultant to solve the financial crisis by firing the entire program 
staff but keep the bookkeeper, receptionist and janitors. Who did they 
imagine would run the programs that generated the revenue to pay the bills 
plus the salaries and benefits for the bookkeeper, receptionist and 
janitors.? I sure their consultant did not have a clue.
