[Oe List ...] What questions would YOU ask???

Ruth, your recent email reminded me of an old song we used to sing about
scattering seeds today that will be grain for tomorrow.
In 1983 I worked for the United Methodist Reporter in Dallas TX. For six
years I represented the Reporter at Annual Conferences of the UMC. In every
conference both clergy and lay shared with me the impact and the help that
they received in either RS1 or the Parish Leadership Collogue (PLC).
In one case, the Bishop of an annual conference told me if it had not been
for EI she would not be in the church. She said, "EI helped give my ministry
a new meaning."

There are three retired Methodist pastors at my little UMC church
here in Aptos, California. Each one of them has been connected with
EI in one way or the other many years ago.
It's really kind of nice to have collegiality based on that, as well
as the fact that we have a lively little church here.
