George,

You may be aware that George Walters did a talk on the Post-Modern Journey of the Movement/Order at the Springboard meeting in Denver last month. His graphic from the talk can be found on the Springboard web site. In it he talks about the immediate past 30 years as the time of the Diaspora during which all of us were scattered to the corners of the earth doing what we do. It strikes me that this 30-year time period for us was at least a harbinger of the movement talked about in the article you have shared, if not, in fact its actual culmination. Thanks for passing this along.

Interesting article in Alternet: A Global Democratic Movement Is About to Pop

"This is the first time in history that a large social movement is not bound together by an "ism." What binds it together is ideas, not ideologies. This unnamed movement's big contribution is the absence of one big idea; in its stead it offers thousands of practical and useful ideas. In place of isms are processes, concerns, and compassion. The movement demonstrates a pliable, resonant, and generous side of humanity."
