I find it so interesting to have read recently about Joe Slicker's early days
in CFLC & the many retreats done there, & then this
< In March 1939 he [Jim Mathews] traveled back to Poona to hear the world-
renowned Methodist missionary Dr. E. Stanley Jones, known throughout India as
the Methodist Churchs evangelist-at-large and leader of the Christian ashram
movement, in which he infused the Hindu tradition of retreats with Christian
theology.
Those RSI (& other) retreats were bound to be created, weren't they?
