[Oe List ...] The Earth Belongs To All

Yes, Kit wrote it. Every time I hear "Country Roads" I think of "our
version". I also have the image of Kit's face. I was sitting near him when
we sang it for the first time in the Great Hall in the Gym on the
Westside.We were all enthralled at the lyrics and tune. 

 

Does anyone have photos of that room with huge red and black hangings of the
"saints." I can't even remember the specific terminology of these things
(great hall, saints??). If you think the memory is going fast at 50 years,
just wait til you reach your 70's. Such fun. We mustn't delay getting what
memories we have left into the repository.

 

P.S. Dan is doing quite well after his back surgery. Now that he is pain
free, can move about fairly well and drive, we're going to the Bay Area to
see Rick(ey) Jones, his partner Sue, and their 4 1/2 year old son Teddy whom
we haven't seen since July.

The author was Kit Krauss in 1973 I think.
