Dear Gordon,

In the presence of your velvet voiced, soft, blue ink-penned soul, how
could anyone resist being a part of what you invite?

Despite the gag-worthy password (which I didn't dare change) I'm
delighted to be on the springboard list serve, and look forward to the
gathering in Novermber.

Many thanks to you, Tim, and Jack for creating the "infrastructure" of
support.

Much love to you and Rox,

Marilyn

Colleagues --

Jack's invitation this morning to be part of the Springboard Listserv
included directing any of you so inclined to let me know so that I could
subscribe you. It is true that this is a private vs a public listserv,
and applicants do have to be "approved" to participate. You can be sure
that we'll be doing our level best to weed out any of you who fall into
the disreputable or dubious category. (Now that would be a challenge!)

However, as the line from some old movie puts it, you can "cut out the
middle man" here and do this subscribing thing directly. Point your
browser to

 http://wedgeblade.net/mailman/listinfo/springboard_wedgeblade.net

and go crazy. This is also the place to visit to see any or all of the
prior postings to the list (the Archives), to review who else has
succeeded in making it onto the list (the Subscribers) and to get off it,
should that be your wish (Unsubscribe). Bookmark this little bugger for
future access.

This mode of entry carries with it the added advantage of your picking
your own password in the process, vs being given one that's impossible to
remember by the automated fiend that generates them if I subscribe you.

It's been wonderful to get the notes from so many of you indicating your
interest in being part of this initiative! And to be sure, if you
encounter any problems, shoot a note to me, David, Tim or all three of
us. One of us is almost certain to be responsive at any given moment.

Gordon
