[Oe List ...] Hi, David and Pat

Dear Pat and David,
 
Thank you for letting us know about David's journey.  My husband  Fred 
departed January 31, 2008.  His gravestone is now set, with the image  of a cross 
surrounded by the Greek letter Omega, and the inscription, "At  One With All 
That Is."  My heart feels intense empathy for both  of you.  I send love and 
blessings.  
 
My image of David from the years Fred and I were in the Order  (70-75) is of 
a man of tranquility in the midst of storm, of  wakefulness in the midst of 
trance, of sobriety in the midst  of intemperance.  I assisted him in the summer 
program of '75, and our  meeting space was at the end of a hallway.  I don't 
remember much  about the research of the summer, but I do remember David's 
serenity,  helping the rest of us to calm down.
