Remember that tape series where Bill Moyers interviewed Joseph Campbell about myth??

In one of them, Moyers asked Joseph Campbell to explain the virgin birth.

Campbell said something like this . . .

The virgin birth to me means, there are things that stir in my soul and I have no idea of where they came from . . .

By the way, Mary Warren Moffett studied with Joseph Campbell.
