What is the first song? The mix idea is great! How about it Marshall?
Larry's son and daughter, Lloyd and Lela made a beautiful recording harmonizing with themselves to send a gift to Evelyn for her birthday.

Borrow someone's Mac with the Garage Band application, an audio interface, a few mikes and a nice room for sound and you have all the recording equipment so many rock bands around Austin use to make their CD's. In fact, some of them have musicians record their track email 'em and they mix it in Garage Band, works ok as long as their timing is perfect (there is a built in metronome in the program). Just think we could record the whole order around the world and put them on one CD. Nah! Marshall would never go for that.

Hi Everyone,
Some of us will be at the pre-conference event in Troy on 9/20, including Janice Ulangca (our resident musician).
If we decide to make an initial recording of 20 songs, WHAT ARE THE 20 SONGS YOU WOULD SUGGEST?

Colleagues --
Several people have expressed interest in a hard copy of the Song Book. However, I note that an electronic version is available. Perhaps, that is a better answer to our need? How do we go about getting it?
Jim Weigle suggested the need to put all of our songs on audio-file. I believe this is a crucial activity, because so many of the song tunes will be lost to memory, in particular the Human Development Songs, if this is not done.
Where is Jean Long when we need her?
