Took liberties with our Ode to Joy and Halo Halo Bandung to represent Germany 
and the Netherlands at our school assembly.   With apologies to the original 
Order song writers - here are the lyrics of the songs the 6th graders sang and 
will now become a part of the school's repertoire of songs. 

San Vicente Elementary School's (SVES) mascot is the Canary.   Been playing 
with the image of the canary as the favored caged bird, and thereby, one that 
always sings for freedom.

CANARIES CAROL

Come Canaries, live life freely, 
sing with friends in common thrust;
Play along your classmate's labors, 
ready to receive their trust.
