[Oe List ...] Keeping Teeth

Hi Burna,  It's good to hear from you about 'the Tooth.'  I too have had misadventures with teeth.  I strive to keep every one I have and, as a result, I have a mouthful of silver, gold, amalgum and porcelian.
    I try to concentrate on preventative care but have an ongoing battle with the dentist who wants to sell me on expensive cosmetic dentistry.  Wouldn't I have a better life with whiter teeth, straighter teeth, a post instead of a filling, or a new bridge to replace the one I got in Taiwan almost 40 years ago, etc., etc.???  I draw the line on all of that but especially on his desire to extract my last wisdom tooth which has nothing wrong with it except a large 15 yr old filling. 
To me it's like an old friend, an old sock i like, an old copy of an early EI Song Book.  And best of all it's mine!
    Here's to keeping as much of 'ourselves' as we can!
