Dear Ones,
 
This is to catch you up on Fred's condition.  He has been in the  hospital 
(Sierra View in Porterville)  since Saturday, Jan. 12.  He  developed a blood 
clot in his second leg even though he's been on blood thinners  since July.  
Evidently the tumors in his kidney area are slowing blood flow  into his legs.  
Also, this particular cancer thickens the blood, according  to the oncologist.  
He has become very weak and unable to stand or transfer  to a chair.
