Dear Ones,

 

Sorry if you received an incomplete e-mail last night.  I got a new laptop
for Christmas, and it's a rather steep learning curve.  I haven't got a
complete address book yet, and was writing from the hospital.  Pathetic.

 

Fred will be in the hospital at least one more day.  We had discussed moving
him to a convalescent hospital here in Lindsay near our home.  The facility
has physical, occupational and speech therapy.  However, it's becoming clear
that he is winding down, and wouldn't really benefit from therapy.  I'm now
leaning toward bringing him home with the help of hospice services.

 

Your thoughts and prayers have been so helpful, in supporting us both.  He
is not in any pain.  Such a blessing.
