What a glorious recognition for outstanding achievement.  But, the CHILDREN are the real benficiaries.  I do not mean this last sentence to diminish the teacher recognition.  Keep up the good work Brooke.  We are all so proud of you.

Dear friends and Colleagues:
 
We are bursting with pride for our daughter Brooke, who won the Chicago Golden Apple award in May.  The ceremony will be in September, so we will get a chance to be there to see her honored !   What a thrill to have the Mayor of Chicago visit her at at her school presenting her with a basket of apples with a golden apple on top !
 
We have to believe that some of the Order life, particularly the Imaginal Education, etc. rubbed off on her, even though she often refers to when she was in "The Cult"
