[Oe List ...] Aquifer question?

Good question??  The Ogallala aquifer has been being drained for irrigation 
in the Nebraska area.  I don't know about what is under Iowa.  I don't know 
if the rains even get there or if they just run off into the rivers.  Do we 
have an aquifer expert in the house?
