Hi Evelyn,

The ICA USA has been driving particularly onerous "bargains" in negotiations
with the new Institute for Consensus Action (our colleague group in Denver),
the ToP Trainer Network, and the Keystone community in Chicago.

The Keystone community leadership had been trying to get Nino to meet with
them for some months so that they could negotiate the new lease for their
use of the 7th floor of Kemper. He had not responded to several requests to
meet. At the last minute, when he demanded they sign, the community said
that without amending the lease terms they would walk away and move out.
Nino made concessions that the community could live with for a year and they
signed the lease a couple of weeks ago. Hence the celebration. Hence the
irony of making origami birds out of the old lease.

Pass along to Larry my deep delight in spending time with Marge, Hannah, and
Paula. I visited in passing several times with Lela and Leah. Wonderful.
