Our joy at Obama's victory and the solidarity felt with people around the world was reminisent of times in the Order in the late sixties.  It was muted by the defeat of two exceptional candidates that Pauline and I had worked hard to elect to the House of Representatives and State Assembly.  They lost to the usual political 'hacks', one a totally unqualified son of the incumbent Congressman of 26 years! 
    It helps me realize what O is up against and how the hard work now begins.  It also gives new meaning to 'I can see a new day....'   Hold High the Torch!
