Unfortunately the system is still such that a candidate will make some moves that a president will not.  My hope and expectation is that President Obama will be the president for the next four years, and not the candidate running to be president the four years after that.
 
Who knows, even Nader's may be one of those voices Obama wants to hear.  If so, it will be more to his credit than to Nader's.

Precisely.  Obama was in Israel as a candidate, not as a President.

Halfway through the article, I turned Ralph off, as I did more than two decades ago.  Nader does not understand strategy, and his preachy moralism is not just confrontational, it is transparently egotistical and hypocritical.  And I am glad he is not, and will never be, my President.
