Dear Amelia,? 

My world stopped at the news of Dick's passing.? I have been thinking about you both since that moment.? We weren't close friends yet I felt this solid attachment to the Kroegers.? When we worked together in Area San Francisco, I felt a strong support from the leadership team during a really difficult time in my life.? I thought about how I knew I had that support from Dick and it was very subtle, hard to find the concrete examples but I knew he expected me to be the best that I could be no matter what.? Having the Kroegers in the project at Cannonball, ND we knew business was being taken care of and local people were being forged into self-confident leaders.? I am so grateful to have been in your sphere of care.? I will miss Dick and his enthusiasm for sharing with us the places he felt his spirit being called forth to care one more time.?? Joan Knutson?
