I don't remember meeting you and David personally, but I know he is a fine colleague from his postings on the list serves.  I have profound respect for colleagues like you both.  May the Spirit of Life be close to you both in the very special days ahead.

  David Zollars is dealing with very aggressive colon cancer and is the final stage of his life journey.  Our family has met with the Dr.  and made some hard decisions, but we are all on the "same page".   We are now in the stage of comfort and care only.  Dr.s feel they have done all that can reasonably be done and we are opting not to put him thru more procedures.  The outcome is inevitable, and to do more would be selfish on our part.    We have been very lucky to have had 50 great years of marriage and have three wonderful children and their families, including 5 grandchildren!!!
