  I just got back on the OE List serve.  Now I know why: I would not have missed this profound time of David's life. 


  Wish I knew the age of those 5 grandchildren.  Remember that even if they are young, they will remember you most at the cellular level. That is true remembering.


   May you have a peaceful passing with all the courage you have practiced over the years.  Leave some behind for Lois, she will surely need it.

    David Zollars is dealing with very aggressive colon cancer and is the final stage of his life journey.  Our family has met with the Dr.  and made some hard decisions, but we are all on the "same page".   We are now in the stage of comfort and care only.  Dr.s feel they have done all that can reasonably be done and we are opting not to put him thru more procedures.  The outcome is inevitable, and to do more would be selfish on our part.    We have been very lucky to have had 50 great years of marriage and have three wonderful children and their families, including 5 grandchildren!!!
