Thank you so much for sharing this video.   I also watched Bill Moyers' 
interview with Mark Johnson, a producer of reknown, who pulled it all together and 
plans to replicate events around the globe to uplift and insprie people in 
poverty.   It reminded me of John Wood who left his position as Microsoft COO in 
the late 90s to establish Room to Read after a life changing encounter in 
Nepal.

Our long-term goal is to build 20,000 schools and libraries, thereby 
educating 10 million children in the developing world. Since our inception in 2000, 
Room to Read has impacted the lives of over 1.7 million children by:
     * Constructing 442 schools
     * Establishing over 5,160 libraries
     * Publishing 226 new local language children's titles representing over 
2 million
       books
     * Donating over 2.2 million English language children's books
     * Funding 4,036 long-term girls' scholarships
     * Establishing 155 computer and language labs

A personal note to all our colleagues.   Please send loving energy to our son 
Daniel (he and David turned 31 Sunday after 24 blessed years in our family) 
who woke us up at 4:30 this morning to confess that he is going to enter rehab 
(again).   He has custody of five-year-old Sierra, and we are on our way up to 
Pennsylvania to pick her up this afternoon and bring her back to Virginia 
with us.    I am counting on your keeping him among those for whom we all care as 
well as Mary who has custody of their two-year-old son, Gavin.   Dan needs 
Mary's loving support.
