Dear Isobel,
It is not really my place to say anything here on behalf of the
citizens of that awesome nation the United States - but personally I
found your words in your email particularly uplifting and healing.
And I do think that our US colleagues will find the same comfort.
"Dark Night of the Soul" - yes, for the US and for the many friends
of that country around the world, that is a most apt phrase at this point.
Thank you for your words, and thanks to all who contribute to this
list. This is indeed a form of sustenance for our time.
