The following is a report of my work as an author and publisher. Bill Salmon
Doctoral Professional Project:
"The Development and Application of a Curriculum by which United Methodist Church Pastor-Parish Relations Committees and Pastor's May Move To Mutual Ministry." This material encompasses 3 demonstration curriculums utilizing "Mutual Ministry Methods." May, 1997, Southern Methodist University, Perkins School of Theology
"Old Christian Code Words: Head Trip Analysis to Gut Trip Analysis: An introduction and Study Guide." 2002, Self-published. On Line at www.triumc.org/web1/BibleStudy.
"Matthew through Jude: A commentary." This material is peer reviewed and uses Gut Trip Analysis as its method of discovery. Always under construction, but available at www.triumc.org/web1/BibleStudy. 2000 to 2009.
"SermonStarter: The Three Year Cycle on the Gospel Lections." This material is peer reviewed and uses Gut Trip Analysis as the theological method of discovery. Available at www.triumc.org/web1/SermonStarter. 2004 to date.
"Experiencing Christ in the Now: an invitational blog." Recommended by Bishop Spong, this blog is for post-modern reflections on "Forgiveness from the heart." Co-Edited by Dr. Salmon and Pastor Coachman. www.experiencingchristinthenow.blogspot.com/. (Forward slash is essential.) OE and related colleagues are invited to participate. You now have the invitation in your hand.
"Conversations In Jail: For the Prisoner In All Of Us." Under construction during this summer of 2009. My work in the jail and prison ministries, during the last nine years, identified 7 major themes and 7 appropriate secular-religious responses.
Note: Gut Trip Analysis approaches the scriptures from the Post-Modern worldview as experiential, existential and relational (more Jewish) with an indicative or empirical approach to life. This is opposed to the Modern Head Trip worldview that is rational, cognitive, and objective (more Greek) and tends toward the pseudo-scientific and ends up in the imperative and moralistic.
