David and All:
    Here are 10 of my suggestions for commemorating our decision of perpetual vows to be the Order.: Some are serious and others are less. You can decide. I want these to stir the imaginations of others.
A. All plans are contracted to be administered with ICA/International or some other friendly religious order:
1.    Tattoo the Order Wedgeblade on the inner left wrist or inner thigh;
2.    Buy a "Last Order Member" bottle of Scotch;
3.    Donations made to an "Order" scholarship at TU in Austin-- this could be in the name of those who wish to be memorialized--the bottle will be sent to the last survivor;
4.    Donations made to an "Order" scholarship at Perkins at SMU in the name of Joe Matthews;
5.    Burial plan to put an Order Cross on our tombstone or other memorial -- send a plan that could be copied;
6.    Burial plaque in 5th City--donate sufficient funds to place our names on it-- this could be commonly funded so that at death, everyone's name is on it, in addition to all those who previously died;
7.    Order "Ash-Pit" in a common place where our ashes could be sent/placed with no names attached;
8.    5th City Vault for Order member ashes;
9. To commemorate a famous Order Axiom, commission a bronze as a Memorial somewhere in Louisiana with a, "Shovel and a Bucket of Shit;"
10. All Order members donate to a common fund so that an Order Cross can be sent to all members and their children to be used as they wish.

Does this stir the juices?

  It has been one of the great sadnesses of the last 25 years that I have somehow not been able to participate in that symbol of membership in the order I never left.

  How might we symbolize the gift and the blessing of perpetual vows?
