Gordon,
Thanks very much for putting this music up. I have a Contextual file
that introduces Quartet Singing. I tried to send it to Tim but
apparently it didn't get to him. He suggested that I make the files
into MP3's but I'm not sure how to do that.
In time sequence I would like to have the Contextual file up first.
Then the WHEN I'M 64, then DAISY BELL. Do I have permission to send
you the 'Monstor' (that's what Tim would call it) in which I present
an introduction to Quartet Singing.
It will come through to you. Tim simply said I should have alerted
him that I was sending it because it took so long.
David
PS I wasn't able to get sound right off the web on Summer_72.wma. I
downloaded it but don't have an application that will play it. What
now??

Can't sit on this until our usual end of month Repository update--
just too good! Many thanks to John Tresise, who found this
remarkable cassette tape of our singing at Summer '72 and converted
it to digital audio. Its sound quality is first rate and includes not
only our singing but some of the other elements of our common life at
that summer assembly. I haven't experienced anything that better
transports one back into our life together at this moment in time.
It's about thirty minutes long, so give it a chance to download to
your player after you click on it. You should plan to have the time
available when you start listening; I don't think you'll want to
interrupt this.
