[Oe List ...] Our rights

Under the Constitution our rights include life, liberty, and the
pursuit of happiness. The right to eat is as basic as it gets. Babies
are born knowing how to eat. Every mother (human and other mammals)
will do anything and everything in order to provide food for their
infants.
Getting beyond a narrow U.S.A. perspective, looking globally at the
picture, basic human needs include food, shelter, and companionship.
Aren't those needs also rights?
How is the need for food any different from the need for oxygen and water?
