In my former life as an ICA USA fund raiser, I had the
pleasure of visiting Jay and Ann a couple of times (usually with Judy Lindblad leading the way).  I was first always struck by the fact that
they always gave..not always true.. and, more important, that Jay was always
prepared for the visit. First, he had a check already written out (he knew how
to stop the pitch cold) and, secondly, he always had a series of questions that
he wanted to ask. I think he believed that every encounter should be an ORID
encounter which is absolutely true!
