You are right Charles. The Academy was 8 weeks.

Good to hear from you Ruth.   The Academy was 8 weeks long.  Someone may want to correct me, but I am certain in my own mind---8 weeks.  I also remember the Clutz families. Great people who pushed the movement along!
Grace and Peace,
Charles Hahn

Today I attended the memorial service for Lorraine Kersten. Lorraine and Ed Kersten were the backbone of the Watsonville Community Lutheran Church's cadre in the late 60s early 70s. (Our pastor was Wendall Clutz, whose brother, Ron, was also involved in the Order in those days.)

One of my memories from back then was taking care of their 5 children when they attended the Academy in 1970. How long was the Academy? I can't recall from when I attended, or did all the cooking for one, or when the Kerstens attended.

Time flies, but some memories fly away in the meantime.
