[Oe List ...] Question for those with memory

Hi Joyce and Charles! So good do hear from you two!

Charles, you're correct, the Clutz family was wonderful. When Wendell 
and Mary left the church in Watsonville they left a huge void. 
However, the preschool that they started is still going. Today I sat 
next the the director of it at Lorraine's memorial. She said that the 
numbers have dwindled recently due to the economy. Watsonville has 
had the highest housing foreclosure rate in this county. Lots of 
people are hurting economically.

Wow! Eight weeks long. I really can't imagine that I took care of 
those 5 kids for 8 long weeks! (I was probably teaching school at the 
same time.) I also don't remember doing the cooking etc. for the 
academy for that long. (I think that Academy was on the West Side, 
not at Kemper at the time. I have vague recall of the dishwashing 
area and being below ground, but having a window at street level. 
Could that be correct?)

Thanks for your help. I knew there were those of us gray heads who 
would know! I almost put this question out on Facebook since so many 
of us are on Facebook too. ;-)
