Bob short's bok, The Gospel According to peanuts was the best sellin bok of al times by John Knox Press, the publishing house of the Presbyterian church. I once heard the man who was the publisher at the time describe how Bob Short showed up one day with his manuscript and the conversation about it. Every told him that the book would never make. Were they ever wrong!

  For those who knew him, Bob Short died this month. He was not the author of Peanuts, of course, but a book about the theology of Peanuts, as Louise said.  I tried this a few minutes ago, but it bounced (because of the cartoon, I suppose). Anyway, if it comes through later, that's why.
