Hi Lucille--

Glad to hear you are healing after your hospital stay--no fun at all.? Our backs do have minds of their own and let us know when they are displeased!? 

Thanks for including the website.? Several of our church members?and I?read with kids at a local school.? Even though they use a different method it would be helpful for us to read your book as an aid.

We continue to enjoy the gifts and challenges of our work here, although the continuing demographic changes and current economic recession have catalyzed our creating a task force to look at future directions.? And we personally are thinking through our own goals for the next 2-5 years.? Always change!

We're hosting Michael Dowd (Thank God for Evolution) here Thursday and then studying his book in one of our adult classes.

Thanks, Ellie, for keeping us in touch with the incredible depth, scope, and vision?of Spong's output.? 
Richard and I moved lock, stock, and barrel,?.8 of a mile this week to a one-story, handicapped-accessible house we had built as a spec house.? However, I ended up in the hospital two weeks over Christmas with a painfully debilitating compressed disc, and although I am well now, we decided to plan for the future and move?down the road?rather than sell the new house.
