[Oe List ...] Internal screwed-up-ness, Niebuhr and so on

one question would be, what is the referent for perfect or complete?  is the base of your value scale different from your base for what is real?  If so, where does it come from?  Is there some "really real" form somewhere else that is the yardstick from which to judge what goes on in life?
